Malou - V-Neckline Jumpsuit with Flared Sleeves

Designated a "Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO, the patterns woven into our fabrics carry an equally colorful history.

The art of Ifugao weaving is born from the lulls of the rice farming cycle. While waiting for rice to grow, the farmers needed to make their time productive. While wove household furniture and farming tools from rattan barks, others started to weave fabrics for personal wear, annual rituals, and wedding feasts. The beautiful patterns they've woven are the predecessors of what we see in Kandama's collection.

This dress is woven by an association of women in the remote village of Julongan in Kiangan, Ifugao.

A portion of your purchase will go to improving the lives of our weavers. Proceeds will fund the construction of a livelihood center and a daycare center.
